Lilla at 6 months

The Stats as of 12/30/10...we are still playing catch-up:

Weight 16lb 15oz

Length 25 1/2 in

Head 42cm

At this point she is still our oh so serious little girl:) Her thunder thighs are in full force and she is still a good sleeper-going 10-12 hours per night and taking 2.5 hours of total naptime per day. I have slowly started introducing some baby food. I made a bunch of homemade stuff and of course she hates it:) Right now I would say she is not a fan of babyfood at all....she is still exclusively nursing about 5 times a day. She also recently mastered sitting up unassisted!!

Merry Christmas 2010

Better late than never right:)
Christmas 2010 was a special one. It was Lilla's first and our first with two kiddos to buy for! I am hoping in the future Derek can be in charge of Beckett's stuff and I can handle Lilla's, but i have a feeling that would mean Lilla will end up with 3x more than her brother:)

Ellijay 2010

For Thanksgiving this year my mom decided she wanted to go to the mountains, and she wanted all of us to come. This included me, derek, and our 2 kids, my stepbrother David, his wife Ashley, and their 2 boys (age 3 and 1) and my stepsister Betsy...needless to say it was a full house! We were missing my other stepbrother and his wife and 3 boys. So if we go back next year i am requesting 2 houses:)
It really was a great trip. Beckett and Samuel had a blast together. Derek and I also took our little fam of 4 to do some hiking at the Ocoee River State Park. Derek and I have both rafted the Ocoee, but it has been years ago for me, so i was excited to visit again. It really is such a beautiful area. I have a feeling this will not be the first "hiking" adventure we take as a family:)
Our cabin was in Ellijay, GA. They have a small town square and a few shops. It is a very quaint little area-i felt like I was in the movie Funny Farm most of the time! About a 20min drive from there is Blue Ridge, GA which is much bigger with more shops and resturants. There we took the kids on the train ride through the mountains with Santa. They of course loved it!
Lilla did fantastic on the whole trip. I was so very relieved. She spent most of the days in the Moby Wrap, so she was content. The car ride was close to 10 hours including all the stops, so it was asking a lot and they both did great!! Thanks in no small part to whoever invented portable DVD players!

Lilla at 4 months

Stats:
4 month check up on 11/11/10
Weight: 15lbs
Height: 24.5 inches
Head: 40.5 cm

At this point she is still the sweet, easy baby we are falling more in love with each day. She is such a serious baby! She is a great little sleeper, sleeping about 7-9 hours. She is nursing about every 4 hours and then sleeping through the night from about 9-5am then eating some more and back too sleep til about 8ish...One thing i know for sure...my babies both inherited my sleep habits:)

Chunky Monkey:) This pic cracks me up.....so serious!
